The Wedding Ceremony will be at 3pm
The ceremony will be followed by a reception with a cold buffet & drinks and then a shindig with entertainment by Paul Brown and the excellent Whitechapel Jak
We’d be thrilled if you could join us on Sunday for a simple BBQ, from 12pm

Friday ferries to Rakino are at 1000 and 1840 from downtown, pier 3B (please leave plenty of time to unload/find parking, and take into account Fri rush hour traffic!)
For those who need parking in town, a good option is Downtown car park at 31 custom street which is a very reasonable $22 for the weekend, from 1730 Fri until anytime Sun (Not suitable for tall vans/campervan though due to height restrictions!)
Saturday water taxi/shuttles from Waiheke will be at 1230 and 1330, and back at 1830 and 2200. These will depart from Matiatia wharf (where the ferry comes in from downtown). You will find Steve from Auckland Sea Shuttles at the smaller boat pontoons at the end of the wharf road
Sunday return ferry is at 1720 to downtown, pier 3B
The island has beautiful beaches and views, so we suggest you bring your walking shoes, some sunscreen, a bottle of water & a snack if you are planning on spending time hanging out before the wedding.
For those of you staying the weekend we suggest the following:
- There are NO SHOPS on the island – if you don’t bring it, you won’t have it!!
- Bring a torch – It will be pitch black at night if the moon isn’t out
- If possible please bring your own linen or a sleeping bag (there is limited water supply at each house and this will minimize us doing lots of washing machine loads)
- Don’t forget togs/towel for swimming
- Bring personal snacks, extra alcohol and breakfast foods…
- Please note there is a total fire ban on the island, no outdoor fires or fireworks are permitted.
- All houses on the island operate on solar power so electricity is limited. Please charge your phones before you arrive and leave unnecessary devices at home. Items such as hair dryers/straighteners, electric shavers etc. are also on the leave-at home list.
- Houses will not have appliances such as toasters and microwaves.. please factor this in when planning any meals.
